Shuttle Bus from/to Faenza

On the day the course begins, two shuttle buses will be available from Faenza railway station to the Centre for students who have booked the service.
The shuttles will be marked with a “Vipassana” sign. To reach them after exiting the station, turn right and walk about 150 meters to the bus shelter located just past the taxi stand.
The first shuttle will depart at 1:45 p.m. and the second at 3:45 p.m.
The trip takes about 60 minutes.
The cost of the service is €10 each way and can be paid at the check-in counter upon arrival at the Center.
We encourage you to plan your trip with plenty of time before your arrival in Faenza, taking into account possible train delays, to ensure you arrive in time to catch the shuttle, which cannot wait for latecomers because it must adhere to its schedule.
If you would like to use the shuttle service and did not request it when you reconfirmed your registration, please reply to the email confirming your participation in the course to inform the registration team.
FOR THE RETURN TRIP, a shuttle to the Faenza train station will depart from the Center at 9:00 a.m. after the course ends. The cost is also €10 and must be paid at the Center before departure. The trip takes about 60 minutes.
*** DETAILS FOR ARRIVING AT THE CENTER IF YOU MISS THE SHUTTLE FROM FAENZA To ensure that activities run smoothly, it is essential to arrive at the center on time. Please plan your journey taking into account the limited availability of public transport (Cooperativa Trasporti Riolo) and the possibility of delays in the train service. In particular, it is advisable to arrive at Faenza station well in advance so that you can catch the shuttle at the scheduled time and avoid any inconvenience. In the event of delays that prevent you from catching the shuttle from Faenza or the bus connections from Faenza or Marradi, and if no other public transport is available, you will need to use a taxi service (see TAXI page here). |
If you miss the coach from Faenza, proceed as follows:
Get the train from Faenza to Marradi departing at 16.18 and arriving at 16.52.
Get the bus from Marradi to Lutirano at 17.00.
If you miss the last connection to get to the center by public transport, proceed as follows:
Get the bus from Faenza to Tredozio departing at 17.45 and arriving at 18.31. Once you get on the bus to Tredozio, contact the center at 055 804818. We will pick you up in Tredozio as soon as possible.
To get to the bus stop ( https://goo.gl/maps/wGd1A7HFUh82 ), go straight and leave the train station behind you, then turn left at the second intersection: after 20/30 meters you will find the bus shelter, wait there for the bus to Tredozio.
